The Query Service is busy error thrown when using Dynamic Cubes

Troubleshooting


Problem

problem is seen in two circumstances: 1. Unable to generate reports and start the dynamic cube with below error message: XQE-GEN-0029 Your request could not be completed because the Query Service is busy. Try again later. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator. 2. When trying to view tabular data for certain querys in a report following error is seen. XQE-CON-0007 your request could not be completed because the query service is busy. Try again later. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator.

Symptom

1. Record in Cogserver.log
Failure XQE-CON-0007 XQE error encountered: Your request could not be completed because the Query Service is busy. Try again later. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator.
BatchReportService Failure XQE-DAT-0001 Data source adapter error: java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: No more data to read from socket - when processing query: ***

Note: *** represents SQL statements

2. XQE-CON-0007 error seen when trying to view tabular data
