Does IBM Security Access Manager for Web 8 Virtual Appliance support taking a VMWARE level snapshot?
Answer
VMWARE tools can not be installed on the ISAM 8 Virtual Appliance, however, a system level backup on VMWARE does seem to work but has not been officially supported by IBM.
The official backup method for the Virtual Appliance is though the 'Snapshot' feature within the LMI.
