Error description

• IMS DLG TCB ABEND0C4 in GJEILBWC +x'1DC' due to bad Reg5.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: IMS Sysplex Manager abend0c4 in         *
  *                      GJEILBWx module during IMS              *
  *                      initialization.                         *

  The abend0c4 is caused when IMS logger calls IMS SM logger
  user exit (DFSFLGX0) and passes a 64-bit log buffer address.
  SM logger exit does not support 64-bit addressing.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code was changed to check with 64-bit log buffer addresses.
  SM processing of log buffers is bypassed when 64-bit addressing
  is detected.
  IMS Control Region must be restarted after applying this fix to
  make it effective.
  

Temporary fix

  THE PROBLEM CAN BE CIRCUMVENTED BY SPECIFYING LOGDC=N KEYWORD
  IN THE GJEIIMSID PROCLIB MEMBER AND RESTART IMS CONTROL REGION.
