Error description
Abstract: Attempts to update a Maven project results in re-ordering of class path entries causing project compilation errors. Problem: You update a maven project: 1. right click on the Maven project 2. select Maven ? update project 3. from the list of project select the maven project 4. click OK This action results in the re-ordering of project class path within the 'Order and export' tab in the 'Java build path' dialog, so WebSphere runtime library is placed above the maven dependencies' class path container causing compilation errors. For more technical details, see: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=398121 Local fix: The project build path needs to be updated manually to move the maven dependencies classpath container above the WebSphere Application Server classpath container.
