Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS' panel ADB2Z2D 'Display
  Threads' options can result in panel ADB2Z2D2 'Display/Cancel
  Threads' showing a value of 'None' under the 'Name' column
  rather than showing a message:
  DSNV515I  #DSN9- MESSAGE LIMIT EXCEEDED. DISPLAY IS TRUNCATED.
  or results in a message 'DB2 cmd error' / 'DB2 IFI error, return
  code= 8,reason code=00E60820' rather than a message:
  DSNB468I  >ssid< SCOPE(GROUP) KEYWORD IS IGNORED FOR NON-DATA
  SHARING SYSTEMS

Problem summary

  *                 Administration'.                             *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Users can receive IFI return code 8     *
  *                      / RC8 / RC=8 with Reason code           *
  *                      00E60820 if there are many threads.     *
  *                      Upon receiving this error, threads      *
  *                      are not displayed.                      *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  Processing of the DB2 '-DIS THREAD' command output is stopped
  if the command returns RC>4 even if output was returned from
  the command.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been fixed by attempting to continue processing
  of the DB2 command output. If IFI rc=8 and reason code 00E60820
  is received error message ADB255E will be displayed (as today)
  and a line with "DB2 cmd error" will be added to the output
  label.  Additionally the DB2 buffer limit has been increased
  from 1000 KB to 9999 KB.
