Error description

  • Scan is incomplete when there are a lot of out-of-session
    problems during invasive testing on AppScan Standard v8.6.
    
    'Tested Elements' shows A/B with A?B.
    
    Workaround is to separate scan into 'Invasive' and
    'Non-Invasive', and use 'Login after Test' for 'Invasive'
    testing.

    When the scan goes out of session several times while it is
    sending invasive tests (which are usually sent at the end of
    the scan, after the non-invasive tests), AppScan sometimes
    doesn't finish processing all the elements it should test,
    skipping a few.
    
    This is only relevant if the test policy contains invasive
    tests (the default policy doesn't).
    

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed in AppScan 8.6.0.1 LA iFix, by handling out-of-session
    problems better during the invasive tests stage.
