'Read timed out' when downloading data in Maximo Anywhere apps

Troubleshooting


Problem

A user tries to download data in Work Execution and the following error occurs: Http request failed: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out

Symptom

If you are receiving intermittent errors on the device trying to download data and have a slower Maximo server, you might be experiencing a timeout between the MobileFirst (Worklight) and Maximo server in the OSLCGenericAdapter.
