Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
    WebSphere Transformation Extender customers who use ToNumber
    function with non-Native format strings.
    
    Problem Description:
    The application crashes and the stack trace points to ToNumber
    function from the core engine module
    
    Platforms Affected:
    All
    

Problem conclusion

  • We were doing an incorrect check to see if we had needed a new
    buffer to hold the character-set converted format string
    provided by the user.  This fix changes the check.
