Error: "no server at the machine address / port" when using NAT to connect to SiteProtector

Troubleshooting

Problem

Users might find that they experience a "no server" error and are unable to connect to the SiteProtector Console when SiteProtector is installed behind a NATed IP address.

Symptom

The following error is displayed when attempting to start and log in to the SiteProtector Console:

There is no server at the machine address / port entered.

This is despite the fact that the SiteProtector Application Server Service is running and properly listening on ports 3998 and 3999.
