• Chinese characters missed during download/upload from RDp
  v8.0.3 to AS400
  
  
  The problem is the CCSID of this source physical file is 937
  (Traditional Chinese), but the data in the source member inside
  this source physical file contains Simplified Chinese DBCS
  characters. Since RDp/iProject used the CCSID of the source
  physical file to do the data conversion when downloading the
  member to workspace, some data will missing.

  When source members are downloaded from IBM i host to a local i
  Project, the Chinese characters display well in RDP.
  When a member is uploaded to another library on IBM i host, and
  the two members are compared, there will be some Chinese
  characters missing.
  
  The problem is the CCSID of this source physical file is 937
  (Traditional Chinese), but the data in the source member inside
  this source physical file contains Simplified Chinese DBCS
  characters. Since RDP/i Project used the CCSID of the source
  physical file to do the data conversion when downloading the
  member to workspace, some data will missing.
  

Problem conclusion

• Fixed in RD Power 8.0.3.1 fixpack.
