Cannot assign an Event as the Trigger for a Transition

Troubleshooting


Problem

You cannot locate a recently added Event in the Trigger combo box for a Transition in IBM Rational Rhapsody.

Symptom

You also cannot create a new Event directly in the Trigger combo box.

Steps to reproduce:

Scenario 1

  1. Draw a Transition on a diagram.

  2. View the Features window for that Transition.

  3. Observe that you cannot see a recently created Event in the Trigger combo box.

Scenario 2

  1. Draw a Transition on a diagram.

  2. Viewed the Features window for that Transition

  3. Attempt to use the <NEW> option in the Trigger combo box to create a new Event.

  4. Return to the Features window for the Transition and see that the Trigger combo box is empty.
