Error description

• When installing the ODM artifacts for a Weblogic configuration
  on Linux and do the following:
  - unselect Decision Server Events, and sample features
  - select Rule Execution Server for Weblogic and Decision Center
  
  for Weblogic
  
  The installation is generating the following exception:
  
  Error during "install" phase:
  Could not create intermediate directory for unpacking
  /home/rulesadm/IBM/IBMIMShared/native/com.ibm.websphere.odm.

Local fix

• When installing with the command line tool you need to specify
  the path to your WAS HOME installation using the option
  
  -properties  user.wodm_was_home=path/to/was/home
  
  Since you are not installing the sample server this should not
  be required. You can give any path that is writable.
  

Problem summary

• The module installing the drivers for the sample and
  stand-alone server is installed even the stand-alone server is
  not.
  

Problem conclusion

• The dependencies for the drivers module are rewritten so that
  it only installs when required
