Connection pool exhausted errors in logs, MDM response time is degradated

Troubleshooting


Problem

The engine became slower to process requests therefore client applications are also taking longer to respond in due time. The logs shows many errors like the ones below: ERROR engine.logic.AbstractEngineLogic: doUserAuthentication: LoginException caught javax.security.auth.login.LoginException: com.initiatesystems.orm.exception.InvalidResourceUsageException: ; uncategorized SQLException for SQL []; SQL state [null]; error code [0]; Cannot get a connection, pool error Pool exhausted; nested exception is org.apache.commons.dbcp.SQLNestedException: Cannot get a connection, pool error Pool exhausted
