Error description

  • When using the shortcut key setup with a JLabel.setLabelFor() to
change focus to a JSpinner widget there is no indication that
focus has been taken by the JSpinner.

Local fix

  • no work arround available

Problem summary

  • There was no indication that focus had been gained by a
JSpinner object when it was accessed via the shortcut key
setup by a JLabel.setLabelFor() method.

Problem conclusion

  • FocusListener added to JSpinner to set focus to the
TextField which gives a flashing cursor.

To obtain the fix:
Install build 20030806 or later
