PQ56111: EZZ7840I SENDTO() ERROR, ERRNO=1118:EDC8118I NETWORK IS UNREACHABLE WHEN USING OMPROUTE WITH VLINKS

APAR status

• Closed as unreproducible.

Error description

• Omproute does not establish adjacency with virtual link and
  issues message:
  EZZ7840I SENDTO() ERROR, ERRNO=1118:EDC8118I NETWORK IS
  UNREACHABLE
  .
  The destination is unreachable because the i_udreq_droute bit
  is set in the IUDR, even though the application did not turn
  on the MSG_DONTROUTE flag.  i_udreq_droute is set off the rcb's
  rdontrte flag.  This flag is set to TRUE in EZBRWWRI when the
  MSG_DONTROUTE flag is based on a socket call.  However, it
  never gets set back to FALSE if the MSG_DONTROUTE isn't set.
  This can cause sends to fail with destination unreachable.
  EZBRWWRI should be setting rdontrte to false when it is invoked.

  VERIFICATION STEPS:
  1) Omproute will issue message EZZ7840I

  When an unreachable destination bit is set in the IUDR, EZBRWWRI
  does not reset the field for subsequent sends.  This may cause
  subsequent destination unreachable failures.  If OMPROUTE issued
  the send, it will then fail to establish adjacency with the
  virtual link.
