Problem

Attempts to run an action results in the following error using IBM Rational ClearQuest Web client. Error from RPC server: Problem creating resource: CRMUD0082E Execution of a hook failed during the action . It was the ACTION_INITIALIZATION hook attached to the Task "". The reason for the failure was: CRMCU0088E The string passed in to Perl is not a valid string in the current code page/locale, "UNIX client". The string is "????". *AFTER Attempts to perform an action results in the error 'CRMUD0082E Execution of a hook failed' with 'CRMCU0088E The string passed in to Perl is not a valid string' when using IBM Rational ClearQuest Web client.
