  The above messages are issued for a DBCS transform client (
  VT100 ).  The 05BC could be anything as it is residual
  information in storage.   EZBTRLGF is not initializing this
  field to zero.

  The problem may be summarized as follows:
  
  1) DBCSTRANSFORM was coded in the TELNETPARMS section
     of the TCP/IP profile.  A linemode connection was
     established with the Telnet server and VT100 was
     provided as the terminal type.
  2) The connection was eventually terminated.  The
     following messages were issued by the telnet
     server during the connection termination process:

  3) The invalid return code 05BC (as shown above) was
     incorrectly issued by module EZBTRGLF.  The return
     code should have been initialized to zero during
     module initialization to avoid a residual storage
     value.

Problem conclusion

• To resolve this problem, module EZBTRLGF has been
  changed to initialize the locally declared return
