Migration of IBM Security Access Manager Docker Images

News

Abstract

ISAM Docker images are being migrated from the current repository on Docker Store to Docker Hub.

Content

To help facilitate an easier deployment on Docker the ISAM Docker images are being migrated from the current repository on Docker Store to Docker Hub. This transition period will commence on Feb 14, 2020 and will last for approximately 6 weeks, concluding on 31st March, 2020.  During this transition period the ISAM images will be available on both Docker Store and Docker Hub. Once the transition period has concluded the ISAM images will no longer be available on Docker Store and will only be available on Docker Hub.
The ISAM Docker Hub repository is located at https://hub.docker.com/r/ibmcom/isam.
Migration Schedule
ISAM versions available in Docker Store until Mar 31, 2020 ISAM versions available in Docker Hub from Feb 14, 2020
9.0.4 X
9.0.5 9.0.5
9.0.6 9.0.6
9.0.7 9.0.7
Note: ISAM v9.0.4 will not be migrated to Docker Hub. It is always recommended to use the latest version to gain enhanced product capabilities and reduce exposure to potential security vulnerabilities. If you do need to keep using v9.0.4, please deploy or download the image from Docker Store prior to 31st March, 2020.
As a result of this transition:
  • There is no longer a need to register with Docker Store to gain access to the ISAM image.
  • A Docker login is no longer required when pulling the image.
  • The image name will change from: ‘store/ibmcorp/isam’ to ‘ibmcom/isam’.
IBM apologizes for any inconvenience that this transition may cause.
