Set connection for Cognos BI & TM1 with CAFE
Answer
· Launch Microsoft Excel and select IBM Cognos from excel menu bar
· Select Option from CAFE menu.
· Select IBM Cognos and click Add.
Configure Cognos BI Connection:
· Select IBM Cognos BI as Datasource Type
· Enter System URL like, http://Serverhostname/ibmcognos/cgi-bin/cognos.cgi
· Enter friendly name.
· Test the connection and click ok.
Configure TM1 Connection:
· Select IBM Cognos TM1 as Datasource Type
· Enter System URL like, http://Serverhostname:9510
· Enter friendly name.
· Test the connection and click OK
