Problems logging on to SCC (IBM Sterling Control Center) after upgrade.

Troubleshooting


Problem

Since upgrade from SCC 5.4.1 to 5.4.2 the port to connect to the Engine gets dropped. Afterwards no further log-in is possible.

Symptom

Within Engine log you can see Java Heap related messages:
INFO SCCEngine - java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
INFO SCCEngine - Java heap space
