Error description

  • The lenghth of the LV label greater than 18 would be
truncated after the NIM bos_inst with image_data
resource,
and the "on/Active" would be appened to the Label as
below

LABEL:          /var/adm/ras/livedumon/ACTIVE

Problem summary


    

  • The length of the LV label greater than 18 would be
truncated after the NIM bos_inst with image_data resource,
and the "on/Active" would be appened to the Label as below.
> lslv livedump |grep LABEL
MOUNT POINT:    /var/adm/ras/livedump
LABEL:          /var/adm/ras/livedumon/ACTIVE
                                    ªªªªªªªªª
This is specific only if the stanzas in the input image_data
file are re-ordered differently as normally done by default.
Pb identified with IBM System Director or
IBM Workload Deployer.
