APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • After starting a second WPAR, that same second WPAR
stamps
packets with the wrong MAC address for the outgoing 1st
hop.

This occurs when using specific routing and multiple
routes.

Local fix

  • Do not use WPAR Specific Routing.

Problem summary

  • Whean WPAR specific routing is enabled and if a same HOST route
is available in the WPAR and Global system, Host is not
reachable from the WPAR

Problem conclusion

  • Code is modified to verify the system id of a route, when WPAR
specific routing is enabled
