IJ09670: GROUP SERVICES CLIENT MAY CORE DUMP IN GSAPI

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Due to an error in pointer handling within the Group Services
  API (GSAPI), GSAPI clients such as PowerHA's clstrmgr may
  encounter a core dump such as the following:

  At this time, the clstrmgr process is the only client known
  to be affected by this.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• An error in pointer handling within the GSAPI could lead to a
  client core dump.  The only known field exposure is in the
  clstrmgr process for PowerHA.
  

Problem conclusion

• The GSAPI code has been corrected.
