APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The CCR server sends a final EOR (End-Of-Record) and is
waiting for an appropriate reply from the CCR client, but
the client doesn't use the EOR mechanism, hence doesn't
send a reply. This leads sometimes to a CCR main thread
waiting for the reply and running into a 120 seconds
timeout
and therefore to a slow CCR.

Problem summary


    

  • Under rare circumstances it can happen,  that mm-commands
talking unexpected long (up to 2 minutes) caused by a slow
CCR RPCs between CCR server and client.

  • Fix avoids long running mm-commands caused by slow CCR RPCs
between CCR server and client.
