Question
Why does the import node command finish with success but show the message ANR0617I IMPORT NODE: Processing completed with status INCOMPLETE.
Cause
The files already exist and do not need to be imported the second time.
Answer
When performing an IMPORT NODE command for a second time, this finishes the processing but indicates it is incomplete and had imported 0 files. The Tivoli Storage Manager Server activity log shows:

ANR0891I IMPORT NODE: Copied 0 optionset definitions.
ANR0626I IMPORT NODE: Copied 0 node definitions.
ANR0627I IMPORT NODE: Copied 1 file spaces 0 archive files, 0 backup files, and 0 space managed files.

ANR0986I Process 123 for IMPORT NODE running in the BACKGROUND processed 1 items for a total of 240,533,349,082 bytes with a completion state of SUCCESS at 09:17:18.
The IMPORT command used the MERGEFILESPACES=YES and DATES=ABSOLUTE. This will ensure the existing data is not overwritten. During the import processing the existing data is found and recognized as the same data that is being imported. Those files are already in the filespace and do not need to be imported during subsequent Import Node processes.
