  • In ESS 5.1.1 (GPFS 4.2.3.2), running mmchenclosure on a
"fan" component ends with an error:
mmchenclosure: [E] Storage enclosure SV34629979 component
fan component ID 1_BOT_LEFT not found.

  • mchenclosure reporting fan component Id not found.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Some code was removed in gpfs 4.2.2 and mmchenclosure was not
updated to account for the changes.
