APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Log recovery failed unexpectedly with error 217 when disk failed
in 1 failure group of a replicated file system.   This is caused
by failure to clear error code from attempt to read 2nd replica
in readBuffer(). We need change the code to ignore read error
from additional replica so we can proceed with log recovery with
a single good replica.
