Problem
Depending on the customer's usage of FileNet Content Engine (CE) server, it may be required to adjust some of ZPARMs when using DB2 for z/OS in order to avoid DB related errors.
Symptom
There could be various database related troubles when the ZPARMs on DB2 for z/OS are not properly coordinated for using CE servers.
For example, we might see processing Object Store tables may fail with following exception:
- com.filenet.api.exception.EngineRuntimeException: FNRCD0009E: DB_ERROR: The database access failed with the following error ...
Caused by: com.ibm.websphere.ce.cm.StaleConnectionException: [jcc][t4][2055][11259][3.63.123] ... ERRORCODE=-4499, SQLSTATE=58009
