Error description
If the msnentdd happens to fail during a particular point in the open process, the mbuf pools are not released. This can be noticed by doing netstat -M and observing an increase in the number of pools. A considerable amount of memory can be consumed in this case.
Local fix
Problem summary
netstat -M shows more number of mpools allocated every time mason adapter open fails indicating the mbuf leak. Customer may run out of network memory.
Problem conclusion
Handled the driver's clean up code to free mbufs before releasing mpool in open failure path.
