Troubleshooting
Problem
End user would like to know that Controller is still successfully publishing data to TM1 (via the FAP process).
Symptom
The recommended/supported method of controlling/checking the FAP process is by using the 'FAP client' (fapclient.exe):
TIP: This can be easily installed on any PC by using the instructions in separate Technote #1505119.
A drawback (to using this method) is that you must know a SQL login username/password (to connect with, inside "FAP Connect"):

For the sake of simplicity, many/most customers use the same SQL login (e.g. 'fastnet') that the FAP process itself uses.
- However, if necessary, the customer can create new SQL login(s) to access the FAP database.
