    TEP / TEPS / TEMA / TEMS OF OM DB2PE COMPID 5655OPE00

    FAQ:

Q: DB2Plex missing from physical Navigator
    A: Please check
      1. the LOADLIB in HUB STC has these modules.
         FYI.
KDPCFGGL KDPFILTL KDPGBPCL KDPGBPPL KDPGGVDL KDPGGVSL KDPGLOKL
KDPGOAAL KDPGOASL KDPGOTAL KDPGSTSL KDPGVTAL KDPTHDTL KDPTSTAL
      2. rhilev.RKANPARU(KDSSYSIN) has LOADLIST(KD5LLIS1).
      3. rhilev.RKANPAR(KD5LLIS1) has the metaprobes modules same as
         above
If the problem persists, please send us screen prints, OMPE
STC output, HUB & Remote TEMS & the Agent STC outputs for
further analysis or check the local fix of APAR PM43995 (if
you have ITM 6.2.2 and above) & see if it's applicable.

Q: How to determine if Windows at 32bit or 64bit
A: View System Properties in Control Panel
       1. Click Start, and then click Run.
       2. Type sysdm.cpl, and then click OK.
       3. Click the General tab. The operating system appears as
       follows:
For a 64-bit version operating system: Microsoft Windows XP
Professional x64 Edition Version < Year> appears under System
For a 32-bit version operating system: Microsoft Windows XP
Professional Version <Year> appears under System.
Note <Year> is a placeholder for a year.

Q: How to Determine the Product Version (note: DP is the product
       code for XE DB2)
    A: Windows: Run kincinfo -i from &installDirectory\Install
ITM for products version as follows:
       C:\ibm\ITM\InstallITM>kincinfo -i
       UNIX/Linux/zLinux: Run ./cinfo -i from &installDirectory/bin
for products version as follows: # cd /data/itm/bin #
       ./cinfo -i
The manual method from the old day: You could determine XE DB2
version / fixpack level from the following KDP*.ver members
       at &installdirectory\installitm\ver directory:
       KDPWICMS.ver - for TEMS plugin
KDPWICNS.ver - for TEP server plugin ( recommended since
       fixpack
always has data files applied to TEP server)
KDPWIIEH.ver - for Eclipse Help plugin
KDPWIXEB.ver - for TEP Web Browser plugin
       KDPWIXEW.ver - for TEP D

Q: KO2I0205U UNABLE TO LOCATE COMMON COLLECTOR REGISTRY ENTRY
       FOR OM SERVER CANSD5
A: Please check if you have the correct name for
       KDP_D2_STC=xxxxxxx in rhilev.RKANPARU(KD5ENV), where xxxxxxx
should be your OM DB2PE STC name, and review the name of
"OMEGAMON server started task ===> XXXXXXX" on ICAT
       Configuration panel KD541P4.

    Q: Unreadable navigator item names
A: Customers installed XE DB2 application support but they saw
unreadable navigator items names under DB2 subnode in the
navigation tree. Unreadable navigator item name could be
like Kdp:KDP20062341620373350. See screen shot below.
This issue usually happens with any of the following situations:
     1) did not install XE DB2 application support from the CD image
but only apply the fixpack. XE DB2 application support must
be installed first from the cdimage before apply any fixpack
meaning install the base product then the fix as standard
       install procedure.
     2) kdp.inf / kdp_resources.jar do not match with kdp_pres.sql /
kdp_links.sql resulting in incorrect resource translation.
It happens when the application support or fixpack not
       installed/applied correctly.
      So make sure that kdp.inf / kdp_resources.jar and kdp_pres.sql
/ kdp_links.sql are from the same cdimage or fixpack but no
mismatch. You might want to re-apply the fixpack or
       re-install the application support.
     3) TEPS was not reconfigured, temporary internet files not
       cleared.
You could try to reconfigure TEPS, delete temporary internet
files from Java control panel (clear the java cache).

Q: Where to Download ITM products
    A: Here are the links to ITM623, ITM622, ITM621, DB2 UDB V9 for
