II10136: WHEN FORCED SIGN-OFF IS PERFORMED AT TERMINAL WHICH REQUIRES MANAGER'S OVERRIDE, MO# IS NOT WRITTEN TO ELECTRONIC JOURNAL.

Error description

• PROBLEM SUMMARY:
  When forced sign-off is performed at terminal which requires
  manager's override, MO# is not written to electronic journal.
  .
  Use the following scenario to recreate:
   1)  Do a cleanup on your system.
   2)  Sign on.
   3)  Enter item 1, enter.
   4)  Total, tender using 100000, cash.
   5)  Prompt B060 Change Amount Limit Check.  Override by hitting
       clear, override, MO#, enter.
   6)  From system main menu, select 1 for SuperMarket Application
   7)  From SA main menu, select 9 for Journal Procedures.
   8)  From Journal menu, select 2 for Electronic Journal Report.
   9)  From Journal Report Selection, select x  Display
                                             2  Detail
                                             1  Current Period
  10)  Hit enter, F7 GO and the Journal Detail Report is displayed
       You will see that on the Summary Journal the MO# (MO01) is
       written beside of your cash amount showing that it was
       overridden.
  11)  By this time (depending on what value you have in AUTO
       SIGN-OFF), your terminal is probably go into Terminal
       Secured.
  12)  Use forced sign-off with Manager's override by entering Sig
       on/off key, clear, override, MO#, enter.
  13)  If you are still on the Journal Detail Report screen at the
       controller, hit F3 so the report will be current.  Hit ente
       F7 GO.  It displays the first transaction which you did but
       is still only page 1 of 1.  It does not display the forced
       sign-off transaction.

  PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
  Update from C/T CMJ:
  In the case of a forced sign-off, there is no override string
  (type '10') written to the Summary Log, thus, it is not possible
  for the journal report to display the information.  In order to
  add this string to the Summary Log would require extensive rede-
  sign to the product, as both the terminal and the sales support
  code would have to be changed.  Then, the report could change to
  display/print/file the information.
