Error description

• This Informational APAR documents commonly recieved
  reason codes for RMM message EDG8006E:
  
  EDG8006E DFSMSrmm SUBSYSTEM DFHSMDEL REQUEST FOR VOLUME volser
  FAILED RETURN CODE 20 REASON CODE xx
  
  Reason code 35:
  
    The reason code 35 indicates that DFHSM tried to do a DELVOL,
  but according to RMM, the tape was already scratch.
  
  Reason code 49:
  
    The reason code 49 means that at the time DFHSM issued the
  delete volume request, RMM already had released the volume.
  
  Reason code 95:
  
    The reason code 95 should actually be 4095.  This is a code
  which can have many meanings. The general description is
  'DATA ERROR CAUSED ABEND' .  One reason for which this can
  is 'UPDATE DISALLOWED DURING HOUSEKEEPING' .  When you receive
  this error check the volume record in the CDS for the volume
  shown in MSGEDG8006E.

  For reason codes 35 and 49 investigate why RMM believed the
  volume had been released or returned to scratch.  Make sure
  that DFHSM and RMM are set up to work together as described
  in Implementing and Customizing DFSMSrmm, chapter 8.
  DFHSM must control when the volume is expired.
  
  For release 1.4.0 and later, verify that EDGDFHSM is not
  being invoked from ARCTVEXT.  With release 1.4, HSM invokes
  EDGDFHSM independantly of ARCTVEXT.
