Error description

  • DESCRIPTION OF THE EOHPGMST PROGRAM WAS NOT PROVIDED IN THE
STATEMENTS PROM.

Subject: Statement program EOHPGMST

Description:
-----------
  Each of the major components of the Statement cycle
(preprocessing, SIS, FIS and SEC) write diagnostic
and program completion messages to the program
statistics file.  IBM provides program "EOHPGMST"
which consists of the program and JCL to format and
print the contents of the program statistics file as
described on page 7-14 of the Statement PROM.

  Please be aware that each component deletes and
reallocates a program statistics file before
writing it's messages.  Therefore, EOHPGMST should
be ran after the completion of one component if the
same program statistics file name is used for each
component.  IBM recommends that unique program
statistics file names are used for each component.
Inputs:
------

  The inputs to the EOHPGMST program are as follows:

  - DB2 subsystem and plan name
  - Program statistics file (COBOL copybook description
    and ddname EOHST006)
  - Statement report text profile (DB2 table name HPF010)
  - Statement error message profile (DB2 table name HPF009)
  - Statement application profile (DB2 table name HPF005)
Outputs:
-------

  The output to the EOHPGMST program is as follows:

  - The Program Statistics Report
Recovering the Program Statistics Report Program -- EOHPGMST:
------------------------------------------------------------

  Because of the brief run time, the program statistics
report program does not need sophisticated or extensive
recovery procedures.  The recovery procedure in all
situations is to rerun the program.
