IC90342: Description of Systems Management command-line (smcli) needs to be corrected in the Information Center.

Error description

  • The documentation at the following IBM Systems
Director information center link is confusing and contains
errors:

The documentation will be updated and improved in several ways,
including, but not necessarily limited to the following:
IBM Systems director server 6.3.2 does not support Windows XP
and windows 2000. This will be removed from the above link.
When the smcli command is executed with debugging enabled, non
root users may experience failures.
Operating Systems information and punctuation needs to be
corrected.
Duplicate information will be removed.
Some acronyms which were not expanded will be expanded for
clarity.
Added IBM Systems Director server users and roles link.
Some sentences will be modified to improve readability.
Impact:  users may face problems while executing the smcli
commands.

Local fix

  •  There is no usage change that will avoid this issue.
