Troubleshooting
Problem
The error 'Invalid number of parameters' occurs when starting IBM WebSphere Liberty server either as a service or using server.startup.bat (server.startup.sh).
Symptom
When using server.startup.bat (or .sh), the 'Invalid number of parameters' error is displayed in the console window.
When running Liberty as a service, the error is found in service log file:
Commons Daemon procrun stderr initialized
Invalid number of parameters
Liberty server does not start after the error.
