Troubleshooting
Problem
The users needs some fields to crossover from Parent WO to Child WO.
Symptom
The Users creates a Primary/Parent work Order manually;
Subsequently the user creates Child Works (manually).
The expectation is that following fields and their related data will cross-over to the Child Work orders.
WORKORDER.LOCATION
WORKORDER.WORKTYPE
WORKORDER.SUBWORKTYPE
WORKORDER.GLACCOUNT
WORKORDER.WOPRIORITY
WORKORDER.SUPERVISOR
WORKORDER.LEAD
Resolving The Problem
Create a crossover domain from WORKORDER to WORKORDER.
Object -> WORKORDER
Validation Where Clause -> wonum=:parent and siteid=:siteid
Add the Source and Target attributes.
After that, you have to add the domain to the WORKORDER.PARENT attribute.
Apply the configuration changes and test.
