Image Services: Clients randomly disconnect after an Image Services upgrade to version 4.1.2 FP18 (or higher).

Troubleshooting


Problem

Client software network connections to Image Services are randomly reset after Image Services server upgrade to version 4.1.2.18 (or higher). The client may or may not recover from this condition.

Symptom

Image Services clients randomly having difficulty communicating with Image Services server.

Error tuples (15,18,9), (15,9,9) and (155,209,215) may be logged in the client ISTK log. In the server elog, error tuple 155,20,4 is logged with message "Courier error: recv() timed out (64 secs)"
