APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Adapters using the nmentdd driver will drop incoming tcp
packets if they are fragmented (ip fragmentation).

Local fix

  • Enable pmtu discover on the remote tcp sending side and
disable CHECKSUM_OFFLOAD on the adapter.

  • Driver drops fragmented TCP packets

  • Driver is modified to pass fragmented TCP packets to upper
layer
