APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Adding a node will fail. In the CAA system logs the ADD_NODE
"PRE" phase on the initiator node (the one from which the
command is being run) will show a failure in the sync_sinc()
    routine, similar to the following:

errno = A system call received a parameter that is not valid.

This failure occurs because the hostname of the initiator and
target are similar (ie: my_host_1 and my_host_100).
