Local fix

  • N/A

Problem summary

  • "ABOR: command not understood" is sent by FTP server, while
trying to interrupt or abort File transfer in progress from
    FTP server to FTP client.
This error might occur when ABORT command is sent by FTP client
to FTP server if storage space on local file system is not
sufficient to transfer file from FTP server.

Problem conclusion

  • Minor code changes are required to solve this issue. AIX FTP
client code is modified to send "Interrupt process" and "Data
Mark" commands before sending abort command to the server
