Error description

  • When an LPAR that has 10 Gb ct3 adapter is rebooted,
there
are instances when the link flaps. These link flaps would
inturn cause the Cisco port to go into errdisable
condition.

Problem summary


    

  • During AIX/VIOS operations such as shutdown -Fh, shutdown -Fr,
reboot -q and halt -q there are times when the switch port
connected to CT3 adapter experiences link flaps

close
