Question
The default certificate in Tivoli Integrated Portal was mistakenly deleted. The systemOut log shows the following error: CWPKI0024E: The certificate alias "default" ... is not found in KeyStore... What is the process to recover the certificate?
Answer
- Disable security using the instructions in the following technical note:
https://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21499504
- Access the Websphere Admin console directly using the instructions found in the following technical note:
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21618872
- Security > SSL certificates and key management > keystores and certificates > NodeDefaultKeyStore > Personal Certificates
Click: Create > New Self-Signed Certificate.
When creating the self-signed certificate make sure the "alias" specified matches the alias in the error in the systemOut log.
- Save the configuration.
- Enable security as directed in the technical note in step 1.
- Restart TIP, and verify the TIP login page loads.
