  • This problem affects setups with more than one LDAP
server configured in
ldap.cfg. If the current LDAP server goes down, some
pending LDAP
request may keep trying to use that LDAP server even if
it is already
marked as being down. This may delay that requests
significantly.

server even if it is already marked as being down.
This may delay that requests significantly.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix is to add a check for server statues in each loop in
lockAnyHandle, so if the server is down, it would return right
away without sticking to the same server
