Error description

  • The entstat command displays an incorrect value for
    the field  "Packets Discarded by Adapter" if some
    discarded packets gets generated and then stopped.
    Running the entstat command after that will show
    increase in discarded packets which is incorrect.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The entstat command displays an incorrect value for
    the field  "Packets Discarded by Adapter" if some
    discarded packets gets generated and then stopped.
    Running the entstat command after that will show
    increase in discarded packets which is incorrect.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Reset rx_drop.
