Error description

  • Customer can only set interface "thread"
attributes for ethernet via ifconfig command. These attributes
are not available as atttributes in ODM, hencethe option
set by customer in ifconfig will not be retained across
reboot.

are not available as atttributes in ODM, hencethe option
set by customer in ifconfig will not be retained across
reboot.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • For ethernet interface attributes "thread" can
now be updated using chdev command.
By default these attributes will be turned off for the
interface, but they wil be now listed as attributes in
ODM.
