requested lock could not be acquired within a certain time
windows.

Problem summary


    

  • An assert in rsimple_lock_spin() will crash the system if the
requested lock could not be acquired within a certain time
windows.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • If a backtracking fault occurs while inside v_stabfault() and
the STAB lock has already been acquired, the backtracking code
will clear the STAB lock before restarting the faulting
instruction.
