APAR status

Error description

  • PTF UO01503 (FMID HMP1J00) shipped new PNLENU elements GIMGPROF
and GIMPPROF.  The corresponding Japanese feature PTF UO01504
(FMID JMP1J11) incorrectly shipped the same two PNLENU elements
instead of the required PNLJPN GIMGPROF and GIMPPROF elements.
As a result, GIMGPROF and GIMPPROF were missing from the
SGIMPJPN target library for the Japanese feature and FMID
JMP1J11 took ownership of PNLENU GIMGPROF and GIMPPROF.

PNLENU GIMGPROF and GIMPPROF are not selected from subsequent
HMP1J00 PTFs during installation because they are now owned by
JMP1J11.

Problem conclusion


    

  • Panels GIMGPROF and GIMPPROF are being deleted from SMP/E 3.6
and replaced by GIMGETPF and GIMPUTPF respectively in order to
be installed in the proper libraries and owned by the proper
FMID.  Module GIMISCV is being modified in SMP/E 3.6 to
reference the new panels.
