APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Permission denied for /proc/<PID>/cwd for
    program with different group and SGID Bit set.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • If the user is part of more than one group, and if the user's
    current primary group id is different from the binary group id,
    and set the sgid(g+s) on the bianry, then readlink() will fail
    with error EACCESS(return code 13).
    

Problem conclusion

  • There is a bug is checking group id of the user
    with the binary.  Modified the code to fix the issue.
