  while handling a malformed registration for
  a resource manager daemon.
  
  On a node running a rsct peer domain
  (VIOS/SSP, PowerHA or TSAMP clusters)
  the rmcd core dump leads to a node failure.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• A corrupt registration coming from a Resource Manager might
  cause RMC to core dump trying to handle it.
  

Problem conclusion

• The exact cause of the bad registration message could not be
  determined, so some preventative changes have been made for
  RMC to be more robust against problems of this sort.
